Hello, thank you for looking up my website. First a bit of information about my background. I have over 20 years experience as a healer, and now specialise exclusively with animals. Over the years I have given many thousands of healing treatments to, and communicated with, a huge variety of horses. I have worked with competition and race horses, family hacks and retired horses, brood mares and foals, old horses and young ones - and horses of every breed! I also receive regular veterinary referrals for my work.

I am a member of The Healing Trust',, and I teach animal healing for The Healing Trust. I am also a healer member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners. Registered healers are recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, to give healing to horses provided you have consulted a vet first ( and vet permission for healing has then been given to you).

Together with a homeopathic veterinary surgeon and a veterinary physiotherapist, I am a partner in a clinic offering natural therapies for all animals as well as horses. My healing experience is wide ranging including with horses, dogs, cats, birds, farm animals, zoo and exotic animals etc. I lecture world wide in animal healing, and also run courses world wide for professionals working with animals ( vets, animal behaviourists, chiropractors, osteopaths, phsyiotherapists, etc).

I live in the beautiful New Forest National Park of southern England and it is wonderful to be surrounded by so much wildlife, and of course the wild ponies.

Healing for Horses

What sort of horses need healing?
All horses can benefit from hands on healing and which you can give yourself. Any horse which has been traumatised in the past ( for example through injury , accident, illness, bad handling, abuse, neglect etc) no matter how long ago, can benefit, as healing aims to restore balance top the energy field and discharge negative energy. Disturbed energy can lead to disease and disorder and all physical illness will have an emotional element to it. Pain and stress are very upsetting for a horse.

In my book I explain about the chakra system with the horse and how you can give healing through the chakras. This includes information on a chakra which I have discovered that only exists with animals. Equines and other animals have a chakra system and meridians like humans do , and healing can be channeled by you into the chakra energy centres to help the animal mentally, emotionally and physically.

Healing and communication is not horse whispering
Hands on healing, and communicating with horses, is not horse whispering . Horse whisperers are trainers, teachers, instructors, or problem solvers that use natural methods and body language with your horse or pony. Healing is a communication energy that you can connect, which works deeply with your equine using soul language to rebalance and harmonise the energy field . You can use healing energy for physical as well as behavioural problems and it is the only complementary medicine therapy that can discharge whole body/mind/emotion negative energy to create harmony from chaos. Horses, ponies and donkeys cannot cry to express emotion but the healing described in my books has been used by many people with dramatic effect to help equines with emotional conditions to feel better about life.

Working alongside other holistic animal professionals
I am finding that Vets are becoming increasingly open to the benefits of healing, which helps the horse or pony on as deep a level as possible, and which also helps the animal to communicate where the problem is. Many vets are exploring energy medicine as they seek to help the animal on the deepest possible level. For this reason I regularly demonstrate my work to vets and other animal healthcare professionals.

Anyone can give their horse healing and communicate with him or her
We can all help a horse or pony with healing - all we have to do is want to help and have our heart and mind tuned into the horse ( or pet's) energy field, to link with the universal source of healing energy. Healing allows us to become animal communicators through the very special information that we can pick up with our hand and minds, as we give the healing. We can all be animal communicators - that innate ability lies in each of us.

" Hands - on healing is NOT a substitute for veterinary advice, treatment or care. If you are concerned about the health, welfare, behaviour, schooling or riding abilities etc of your equine always contact your vet . This is the law. The same applies to concerns with any other animals. Give hands - on healing (and any other complementary therapies) alongside your veterinary surgeons treatment, never instead of it. Your vet is your first port of call - a delay can mean that your horse's communication of problems is unheeded and the horse can suffer as a result."

Problems with horses
If you have any concern whatsoever with a horse or pony please ask your vet to eliminate pain, illness or disease because all of these can cause change in behaviour, attitude and schooling problems. Saddle, teeth and feet should also be checked by qualified practitioners. Advice from trainers/instructors should only be given after you have sought expert advice that your horse is not trying to tell you that he or she is in pain or sick. More work/continuing work aggravates any underlying illness, disease or pain and the root problem needs identifying first.
